What better way to spend my birthday than an evening drinking bourbon! Bedford Playhouse had their first indoor event since the COVID shutdown. They hosted a bourbon tasting paired with six courses of small bites. Each dish was paired perfectly to match the unique characteristics of every pour.
Plates such as pear, gorgonzola & crispy sage on a sesame cracker served with Weller Special Reserve, and peppercorn seared tenderloin with shaved brussel sprouts and red wine jus along with Stagg Jr. Barrel Proof from Buffalo Trace Distillery are just a few of the standouts of the evening.
Here I am with Executive Director and our host of the tasting, Michael Hoagland and Director of Marketing, Courtney Davis Walker standing next to the bottles poured for the tasting. They did a great job planning and executing an event that included social distancing and other safety protocols.
