Had a great time for a wonderful cause at St. Jude’s Spirit of Hope: An Evening of BBQ and Blues fundraiser at Guastavino’s. My friend and colleague, Acker’s Director of Spirits Ethan Kelley, poured incredible bottles of fine and rare whiskey. You know your table is a hit when everyone brings their friends over. It may have been my sparkling personality, but also we were serving some pretty impressive hard-to-get bottles. It was a real treat watching people’s faces light up as they enjoyed Ethan’s specially curated whiskeys. Plus, he gave us a tantalizing preview of some of the bottles being featured at Acker’s October Fine and Rare Spirits auction.
