Dan & Jacqui Heavens (a local Katonah family!) acquired the property in January 2020. These proud new owners of the 20-acre farm grow their own wine grapes, peaches, nectarines, pears, apples, quince, and black currants. ⁣

They have live music on weekends, picnic tables laid out on the property, and food provided by Empanada Nirvana

There are several flights to choose from when you are sampling the wines. We went with the premium tasting which served six glasses of 1oz pours. The very knowledgable assistant winemaker poured our flights and explained everything with such passion and joy. It was wonderful to hear him talk about something he obviously cares so much about.⁣

I enjoyed every wine served and went home with a bottle of the Bordeaux-style “Synergy” blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc & Merlot. It has black fruit and vanilla on the nose and is well-rounded. A real delight.⁣
