I absolutely love street art. As a native New Yorker, I was able to see so much of it growing up. It was everywhere you turned in the 80’s! So I grabbed this bottle of Intrinsic Wine Co. the moment I saw the label. I was thrilled to find out this was designed by Queens, NY-based street artists @zimernyc . So this hit close to home for me. Gorgeous bottle for a gorgeous wine!
The wine is a red blend of malbec and cabernet franc from Columbia Valley, WA. With notes of milk chocolate and raspberry it finishes off dry. Some licorice lingered on the palate for a few seconds. Beautiful wine. I had no problem drinking this on its own but if you’re going to pair this with food then a creamy pasta dish or steak would be perfect. Hope you try it or at least see the label up close!
