I have been eyeing Bobby Flay’s Sangria recipe from the Food Network so I thought it would be perfect for the weekend. It’s cold, delicious and my favorite part is snacking on the fruit!
Here is the recipe:
2 bottles red Spanish table wine ( I usually ask someone at the wine store to recommend an affordable Tempranillo - you really shouldn’t spend too much $$)
1 cup brandy
1/2 cup triple sec
1 cup orange juice
1 cup pomegranate juice
1/2 cup simple syrup, or more to taste (equal parts sugar and water, heated until sugar dissolves, cooled)
Orange slices
Apple slices
Blackberries
I was supposed to add pomegranate seeds but I couldn’t find any at the supermarket...I guess I will survive 🥴
