So excited to post about Blue Farm Wines 🍇

This boutique winery is a personal project of winemaker Anne Moller-Racke, the former winemaker of Donum Estate . Her site-specific expressions of chardonnay and pinot noir are true gems!

The Blue Farm 2017 Chardonnay “Laceroni Vineyard” from Russian River Valley was a pale gold color with blossom, lanolin and yellow apple on the nose. I tasted pear, stone fruit and a little butterscotch on the finish. I was so impressed with the acidity because it was right down the middle and perfect. Really loved it!

Next was the Blue Farm 2017 Pinot Noir ‘Anne Katherina Vineyard” from Carneros. The eponymous vineyard sits behind Moller-Racke’s blue home. The wine was a pale ruby color that smells of roses and blueberries. (Just writing that made my mouth water) The palate had notes of strawberry jam and red apple skins. A stunning finish with toast & vanilla with medium acidity.

What a pleasure to taste these!
