This weekend I was invited to judge the 2020 Amateur Winemaking Competition for Winemaker Magazine in Manchester, VT.
Over three days, 30 judges evaluated 2,519 wines from 6 countries under a tent at the Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home. The WineMaker International Amateur Wine Competition is the largest of its kind in the world. We tasted wines, ciders and meads that compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in 50 categories. It was a pleasure tasting everything made from the heart and most importantly... with passion.
Thank you so much for inviting me! Good luck to everyone who submitted!
Results will be released September 3rd.
